YMT at Trinity in Ellsworth, IA

Laura is from Owatonna, MN and went to a school out in New York for a year, but then felt God calling her away from it. Long story short (she'll tell you the longer one sometime if you'd like), God very clearly told her she needed to be at Riverside.

Outside of work, she greatly enjoy playing her guitar, writing songs, baking delicious treats, and knitting. She cannot wait to see what God has in store for her this year at Riverside and at Trinity Lutheran Church. A camper of hers this summer said that faith is taking a step without knowing what comes next; this is her taking that step and she couldn't be more excited.

Hi! My name is Michelle Becker. I am a Minnesota native who relocated to Iowa for the majority of my life. I graduated from Woodward-Granger high school in 2007 and Northwestern College (Orange City) in 2011 with a degree in Christian Education and Youth Ministry. Besides the academics that my life has been filled with over the last few years, I love outdoorsy activities, adventures, accumulating moccasins, and learning how to sew. I am so blessed and encouraged by the way God has lead me to Riverside and Immanuel as a YMT this year; I am excited for all God has in store.
