Paul Olson
St. Petri Lutheran Church (Story City, IA)
Paul serves as the Youth Director at St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City, IA. This is his first year as part of the YMT.
Paul is “amazingly excited” about his place in this great ministry. He is in charge of the high school youth group and Sunday school, helps run the confirmation class, and also plays in the praise band at St. Petri. He likes to think of himself full of energy and hopes to get kids fired up about Christ. Yay Jesus!
Anna Twito
Emanuel Lutheran Church (Dayton, IA)
Anna graduated from Grand View College in May, '08 with a degree in graphic journalism and serves as the Youth Director at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dayton, IA.
Anna worked at Riverside during the summers of '05 and '06. Anna is excited to be in a role where she has the chance to be a kid all over again through her ministry to Junior High and High School youth. She's also looking forward to working to helping these youth grow in their relationship with God and discover their faith in new ways.
Emily Crawford
Trinity Lutheran Church (Marshalltown, IA)
Emily is from Charles City, Iowa. She attended Wartburg College where she studied Communication Arts Public Relations. Emily has been on the summer and full time staff at both Riverside and Ingham Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camps.
Emily is working at Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown primarily with the high school youth but is also responsible for youth activities for both the 3rd through 6th grade age group along with the 7th and 8th graders. She is planning fun and fellowship events for all three of these age groups.
In her free time, Emily enjoys reading, spending time with friends, going on adventures, and being involved with Awaken Ministries.
