Overview

Must have a committed relationship to Jesus Christ and attest to their faith through signing the Riverside Statement of Faith. Must have a desire to share the Good News and God’s love that others may be drawn into a more committed walk with the Lord.

Position Qualifications

  1. College degree or six years of experience in Christian ministry and 2 or more years in youth work preferred.
  2. Strong managerial abilities.
  3. Professional skills, including large group presentations, capturing the respect of and leading staff, and training others as leaders.
  4. Excellent verbal and written skills.
  5. Proficient with various aspects of technology.
  6. Desire to be an active part of a ministry team.
  7. Ability to maintain information in strictest confidence and to honor the integrity of individual’s personal details.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Serve as a dynamic part of the Riverside Leadership team.
  2. Assist Program Coordinator as directed in each program area.
  3. Be involved in leading Youth Ministry Team.
  4. Develop and manage Junior Counselors.
  5. Help develop and maintain Adventure programs.
  6. Assist in leadership areas of summer camp.
  7. Ensure high standards be followed for each area of program.
  8. Accept additional assignments and perform other related duties as identified from time-to-time in the execution of programs, as directed by the Directors.

The responsibilities of this position will be carried out in keeping with the mission statement and policies of Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp.
