Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp is blessed with countless donors with gracious and caring hearts. This is truly a blessing since Riverside receives no funds from the three Iowa ELCA Synods. Riverside’s funding comes from individuals and congregations that share what God first gave them. You are invited to share your blessings with Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is an important partner of Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp. Thrivent Financial provides funding support and encourages volunteerism that helps build Riverside. Thrivent Financial provides supplemental funds through county chapter service teams and GivingPlus matching from individuals with Thrivent Financial products. Riverside also receives Regional and specific purpose grants.
If you are a Thrivent Financial product owner please ask or and submit a GivingPlus matching form with your gift to Riverside. Special Events
Riverside hosted Heavenly Night Galas in 2006 and 2007. These were planned and carried out by caring and visionary volunteers who worked many long hard hours to bring these special events to fruition. Both events were sponsored by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. God richly blessed the 2007 Heavenly Night Gala with more than 200 guests and very nice weather given the time of year. Guests enjoyed great food, music, dancing fellowship and an entertaining auction.
Both Galas proved to be fruitful fund raisers with donations and the auction raising over $38,000 in 2007 and $73,000 for both galas. Thanks to Riverside’s Thrivent Financial for Lutherans grant, 100% of the money raised was applied to the Come to the Table appeal. Many attendees were introduced to Riverside’s new dining hall for the first time and saw how this building is a tool for growing faith and bringing God’s love to campers of all ages.
