Summer 2012 Theme!
Summer 2012’s theme is “Alive.” The theme verse from 1 Thessalonians 5:10 says, “He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.” God’s amazing love for us is shown through His Son, Jesus Christ, and how He gave up His life for us so that we could be alive like He is. That’s right, He’s alive! And not just walking and breathing—He is the fullest life we could have! Thanks to Jesus we can be alive.
The summer will also be filled with the great things you love about life at Riverside. Extreme Caution: the following list may cause a severe case of over excitement! Great counselors, music, skits, carpetball, nuke ‘em, large group games, swimming, soccer, football, ranch camp, challenge course, 2@2, bonkers, canoeing, great friends, the mime, Chapel, and many great times filled with the love of Jesus!
