Family Camp

Family Camp Summer 2013: July 2-5, 2013

What a great way to spend a few vacation days! All families with children of all ages are welcome. Grandparents, this is for you too! This is guaranteed to be a relaxing few days away from your normal busy schedules and focus on your family and God! No cooking, no cleaning, no yard work. Just come and enjoy! Our staff welcomes your family with arms open wide, ready to serve!

These days are going to be filled with God’s word, tons of fun, activity, laughter, and fellowship. Each morning following chapel, the adults will be taught by our adult speaker who will focus on an in depth Bible study. Meanwhile, the children will be with our awesome counseling staff, divided into age groups. They will experience a time of learning more about Jesus along with some really fun activities!

Meet the Speakers: Ochoa Family

Enrique (Q.) and Martha Ochoa, our 2013 speakers, have been married since 1992. They were great friends in college in the early 80's - but it took 7 years before Q was finally got the hint and asked Martha to marry him; he's glad she said yes! They are raising a family in Cedar Falls, Iowa where Q serves as Leadership Development Director at Nazareth Lutheran Church and Martha is a Physician at the University of Northern Iowa Health Clinic. After the opportunity to facilitate two Marriage Retreats at Riverside, we are excited to have them be a part of Riverside Family Camp for the first time!
