Spring 2012 was Riverside's first ever Men's retreat and it was a huge success! We are happy to say that April 19-20 of 2013 will mark the second annual Riverside Men's Retreat. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to come to Riverside for a weekend to grow together as men of faith.
This retreat is open to men of any age. Last year we had teens, men in their seventies, and everything in between. We even had a number of fathers and sons come together. This year we encourage anyone over the age of 18, or 14 and up if accompanied by a father/guardian, to join us for this great weekend.
This years speaker is Eric Voelker. Eric, serves as a teaching pastor at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines. Eric focuses primarily on leading Hope’s ministry to men in the community. Eric has a big heart for Christian discipleship, caring for those in need, and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Some things to look forward to: Fellowship with other men of faith, small groups, large group teaching, fun and games, outdoor service work, great food, relaxing, meeting new people, and a steak fry. Register online today!
