2021 New Land and Year End Campaign

2021 new land and year end Campaign

Our $425,000 year end goal for this campaign was exceeded!!  Thank you for helping us get to $530,000!!

Over 75 years ago, Pastor A.J. Bringle looked out at fields and cattle pasture on part of the South Skunk River Valley.  This particular piece of property, which is now 123 acres of land, has become holy ground for thousands upon thousands of people.  The Lord is the owner of all we have and it's our continued desire for this physical property to be used for His purposes for many years to come.  Our staff and board have been in a process of looking towards the future, a Master Planning process, over the last few years.  As we continue to experience growing summer youth numbers and retreat groups, the thought of being able to obtain more land on high ground, out of the flood plain, has been discussed.  While we thought this opportunity to obtain more land would be in the distant future, the opportunity came about much sooner than expected!

Our Board of Directors unanimously approved the land purchase this fall and we're excited to see how the Lord would use this new piece of land to expand the Christ-centered camping ministry of Riverside for years to come!  As we come to the end of the year, we wanted to give our generous supporters, partners in ministry, the opportunity to be part of this exciting time in Riverside's history.

The 17 acre property is located on the north side of our existing property, includes blacktop access to Christytown Road, and is out of the flood plain.  While plans are not finalized for how we will develop the land, this opens up the door for a wide variety of uses for future ministry use.  To view this year's Christmas Letter that went out in the mail with this information, click here!

Thank you to all the individuals and congregations that gave so generously to this special ask!
