History of Riverside

Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp - Est. 1943

Riverside was established in 1943 thanks to the extraordinary vision of Pastor A.J. Bringle. Ever since then, Riverside has been a place of worship, rest, community, experiencing the Holy Spirit, and growing in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Tens of thousands of people have been impacted by the ministry here, along the banks of the Skunk River, just north of Story City, Iowa. Check out a video that was created by the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Pastor Bringle for our 75th Anniversary Celebration, as well as some photos of the past. If you have any old stories, photos, or videos to share about Riverside, be sure to let us know! You can email us at RLBC@RiversideLBC.org.
