2020 Men's Retreat April 24-26 (Cancelled)
Unfortunately, our men's retreat for 2020 has been cancelled due to COVID-19. While we are bummed that we can't get together in person, we know that God is still on the move. How can you encourage another brother in your life? We still anticipate having summer camp, and we hope to see you, your friends, or your family at Riverside soon!
Men, our spring Men's Retreat is back! Join us and bring a friend for a restful and meaningful time together with other guys. What can you expect? Great food and snacks, practical biblical teaching, low-key discussion, engaging worship, variety of free-time options, and time to just connect as guys. You won't want to miss this!

Lodging is available in our comfortable cabins here at camp. We have several cabin beds available, along with rooms in our Retreat Center to stay in. If you would like to reserve a cabin for a group of men, please contact our office in advance so we can make arrangements. Each cabin can sleep 6 (just using bottom bunks) or up to 12 (with using top bunks). If you do not specify lodging, we will assign you a cabin for the weekend. You will need to provide your own bedding and pillow for a single size bed. All cabins are complete with attached bathrooms and heating/air conditioning.
Golf at Riverbend Golf Course
We have a block of tee times reserved for 9 holes of golf at Riverbend Golf Course in Story City on Saturday afternoon. The cost for 9 holes is $18/person and if you'd like a cart, $8.50/person. Be prepared to bring a check/cash to check-in on Friday night to pay for your greens fees. Bring your own clubs! *This is an additional cost to your $95 registration fee* (Note: this will take up all of your afternoon free time)
During our afternoon free time, we will have a target shooting range open for participants. We intend for this to be a safe and fun experience for guys of all experience levels! A trained range officer will oversee the range and safety of the range for the weekend-thanks, Jordan! *There is an additional cost of $5 for this activity. Here are some more details:
Can I bring my own gun? Yes. This will be a rifle only range with no other weapons welcome. Rifles can be no greater than 30 caliber. If you bring your own rifle, it must be cased and turned in at registration in the Dining Hall where we will lock up all weapons together in a safe, secure location. They will be available to take to the range Saturday afternoon and will then be returned to the locked location until the retreat is over. Please bring your own ammunition if you’re bringing your own gun.
What if I don’t bring a rifle? We will have several rifles and ammunition for you available to shoot.
What about safety? Safety is our top priority with this range. Our range officer will ensure all rules and directions are followed. Any deviation from the directions of the range officer in staff will result in removal from the range.
What form must I sign? All participants in the range are required to sign our Release, Waiver, Hold Harmless, and Assumption of the Risk Agreement form. It can be downloaded below on this page to print and return, or we will have copies available at registration for you to sign upon your arrival Friday evening.
*If you have further questions ahead of the retreat, email Chris.
Join our awesome Ranch staff on a guided horseback ride through the trails of Riverside! *There is an additional cost of $10 for this ride that you can pay as part of your online registration*
If there is interest, we will have work projects available around camp if you would like the opportunity to serve and use your hands for some work! If you have something specific in mind, email Chris ahead of time.
