Horse Camps

Summer HORSE CampS

NEW HORSE CAMPS in 2022 - in response to ranch campers and parent feedback!

One thing is for certain – we want you to LOVE the Riverside ranch and we desire for our campers want to come back and choose a horse camp year after year! Our team got together and did a little brainstorming to come up with ways that our campers get to experience new things, develop different skills, learn even more about God’s magnificent creatures. The new categories of horse camp are intended to give our ranch campers options based on their past camp experiences, also in consideration of experiences that may be obtained outside of Riverside’s ranch. So, this year, you’ll want to pay particular attention to the details of each category of horse camp to make sure you get signed up for the right one.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Hilary, our Equine Director, at Hilary@RiversideLBC.org

PLEASE NOTE:

  • For the safety of our campers and for the health of our horses, we have a 250# weight limit for all ranch campers and free-time riders.

  • Riders will be expected to wear long pants/jeans, boots, or close-toed tennis shoes with a slight heel (no sneakers, slip-ons, etc.). Thank you for your understanding.

  • Helmets are a requirement for all riders. Our ranch is prepared to fit you for a helmet. If you want to bring your own, it needs to be a SEI safety-approved riding helmet.

Campers (except Alpha campers) also have the opportunity to sign up to do a free time ride during the week if they aren't ranch campers for $15. This is a great way to get your first taste of horseback riding! Also, check out the Summer Master Schedule for a visual showing all the weeks of camp and the availability of each program!
