July Update!
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice." Philippians 4:4
I was talking with one of our summer staff members recently who was sharing how
impactful camp has been in her life. I asked her what has made her camp experience here at Riverside so life-changing. Her response was the atmosphere of joy and the powerful presence of God's Spirit in and amongst the people gathered. I love hearing how people of all ages, different backgrounds, different congregations are led here by the Lord and that they experience the extravagant love and joy of the Lord while here!
Summer Update. Summer camp is flying by! All of our weeks of camp have been incredible, including our 4th of July week of Family Camp. We've seen and heard of God moving in powerful ways. We've had a blast worshiping under our tent. We've experienced 'Wild Wednesdays', complete with a mud-pit, a giant slip-and-slide down the hill, and several other wild water games. We've eaten delicious food and worshipped our risen Lord until our physical voices are gone. It's been a powerful summer of camp so far, and we're excited for more weeks ahead, with the last day of summer camp being August 13. There are still some more spots available for all ages at this point--we'd love to welcome as many youth as possible here this summer!

The ministry of Riverside relies on individuals and congregations to help us continue the Lord's work here at His camp. With the loss of the Gala this year (one of our bigger fundraisers) I want to bring to your attention three upcoming events for you to consider being a part of (and inviting others in your life to join you)!
All of these events are really fun ways to get involved with the ministry of Riverside and joyfully give to the Lord's work here at Riverside. Church Visits!
We love our partnerships with the local church and know that we are stronger together in our continued ministry. With COVID, we haven't been visiting too many churches in person. If you would like one of our staff to visit your congregation and share more about the ministry of Riverside, we'd love to talk to you! Let Chris or Jessie know if you're interested!
