March Riverside Update

January and February have flown by here at Riverside! Here are a few updates of what's been going on!

Summer Camp 2021. Yes! We are excited to move forward with offering summer camp programming this summer! We almost have 1,000 campers already signed up for summer camp at this point (and 20 family camp families already)! We are excited for all that God will do in and through His camp this summer. Spring Events. We are so excited to welcome 30+ couples for our Marriage Retreat this year, and are looking forward to more spring programs that include: Lil' Cowpoke Days, Men's Retreat, Spring Work Day, Spring Blast!, and several group/private horse riding lessons. Our team is working hard to get ready to host people well for all these events!

Facility Updates. Our team has been busy doing a wide variety enhancements to our facilities over the last few months and we're excited to share them with you! Some of these include: Basement of the Dining Hall (complete remodel of rec hall space/new camp store area), Retreat Center (we've remodeled space to include two new large cabin space for use beginning this spring and into the summer), and more to come. These are some of the beginning phases of the master planning process were in, as well as making adaptations that will be helpful in doing summer with COVID precautions.

Year Around Staff. We were excited to welcome Breanna Chapin as our intern in January! We are also excited to welcome Caitlin Svacina to our year around program team as an Associate Program Coordinator! Join us in prayer as they serve the Lord in these capacities-we're excited to see all that God will do in and through them.
