Despite COVID-19, our team has been busy coming up with different ways the ministry of Riverside can continue to serve families while adhering to recommendations and guidance from our local, state, and national officials. God's beautiful camp is not meant to be empty. We have identified a number of ways that you can enjoy different aspects of camp, beginning now! Steps We Are Taking To Keep You Safe

COVID-19 has required all kinds of organizations to re-evaluate their protocols, and we are no exception. We have been keeping informed daily on the changes and recommendations that impact our team and our potential guests. We are committed to offering activities and retreat options ONLY if we are able to maintain compliance with the safety standards and guidelines that have been set forth. Riverside safety and infection control protocols include but are not limited to:

Screening of our team members assisting with activities and retreats, according to the algorithm developed by the Iowa Department of Public Health
Screening of our activity and retreat participants according to the same criteria
Increased hand washing and hand sanitization stations all over camp
Increased frequency of sanitizing/cleansing of areas occupied by activity and retreat participants, with special concentration paid to common surfaces
