2020 Riverside Gala
Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp is once again hosting an elegant gala to continue the work God has done through Riverside. We are holding the 2020 Riverside Gala at the Gateway Hotel & Conference Center in Ames, Iowa on Saturday, April 4. Join us for a delicious meal, dancing, and silent and live auctions! Proceeds will be used to help us continue to offer camperships that will enable kids to attend camp this summer and also help to support the ongoing needs of the ministry at Riverside!
The doors will open at 5:00 pm. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and cocktails while you peruse the many silent auction items. Dinner, a live auction, and dancing will follow.

5:00 pm - Doors Open (Please do not arrive before 5:00 pm. Arriving between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm is ideal.)
5:30 pm - Hors d'oeuvres and Viewing of Auction Items
6:30 pm - Dinner
Live Auction and Dancing to follow
Dress
This is a formal event. While it is a black tie optional event, we do ask you to dress up for the occasion.
Registration
To register, please use the supporting events section of our online registration or call our office at 515-733-5271.
Entrance for the evening's festivities is $100 per person. However you may reserve an entire table for up to ten people for $950!
If you are unable to attend the Gala, but would still like to support this great event, we will accept bids on items at the auction over the phone until Friday, April 5 at 5:00 pm. Just call the office and ask to speak with Chris Dahl to place a bid.
Auction Items
There are always a plethora of fantastic auction items for both the live and silent auction at the Riverside Gala. This year will be no exception! Items are still being finalized, but be sure to check back as we get closer to the date of the Gala for an updated list.

2018 Riverside Gala
Riverside hosted the 2018 Gala on April 7 at the Gateway Hotel & Conference Center in Ames. The event was a great success with 163 attendees attending a Black & White Ball celebrating 75 years of ministry at Riverside! Eric Hanson of KCCI Channel 8, and originally from Roland, served as master of ceremonies and did an excellent job hosting. A social hour with hors d'oeuvres and drinks provided a festive atmosphere as guests visited and bid on silent auction items. Tim Patrick and his Blue Eyes Band provided a lively atmosphere as guests enjoyed the evening. Dinner and the live auction followed shortly. This was an exciting hour featuring exquisite travel destinations and other fun packages. The silent and live auctions raised a total of $42,526.
The gala raised just over $60,000, which ensures that Riverside can continue to provide an incredible Christ-centered camp experience for any child who wants to come to Riverside, regardless of their financial situation. Thank you to everyone who came, donated items, and volunteered to make this even happen! Riverside’s Gala is an event that offers elegant food and hospitality and is another way Riverside achieves its mission of knowing Jesus Christ and making Christ known to all.
The 2019 Riverside Gala will be held on April 6, and will once again be at the Ames Gateway Hotel & Conference Center. Please mark your calendar to attend and join others as we celebrate all God does at Riverside.
