Alpha Camp is an awesome half-week opportunity to experience camp for the first time. During this two-night adventure, you will experience the daily life of camp at Riverside, giving you a glimpse of how awesome a full week here would be! Your adventure will include learning more about Jesus through Bible Study, singing, chapel fun, swimming at the pool, large group games, art fun, meeting new friends, and much more! We are excited to have you at Camp for the first time!

Juniors Camp is a great time to experience all camp has to offer for an entire week in a community of other fourth through sixth graders. Great counselors, great food, tons of fun, and learning more about the amazing love of Jesus!

Junior High Week has all the amazing parts of camp that you are used to at Riverside but it also features our Challenge Course where you get to do team-building and problem-solving alongside your cabin as well as an amazing guest speaker who will guide us through our theme!

Tyler Clements
Tyler worked at camp in the 90’s while studying film at KU. During his college years, he was a member of the Christian acoustic/rock band "the pool boys". After graduation, Tyler married Lindsay and they moved to Nashville to pursue music with "the pool boys". In 2005 they returned to Lawrence, KS where he serves as Director of Youth Ministries at Grace EPC. Tyler loves spending time with his wife and their four children.
Corey Paxton
Corey is passionate about seeing young people develop a life-changing relationship with Jesus and His call to advance His Kingdom in the world. He has been working with youth ministry seen was a teenager and now serves as Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Ministry at First Lutheran Church in White Bear Lake.
Dan Garrietts
Dan is Pastor to Youth and Family at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City. He is married to Molly and has two daughters, Maggie and Leah.
Confirmation groups are welcome during any Junior High week at Riverside. This week of camp provides the church with a great camp program and time for your Confirmation class to meet daily. Pastors may lead their own Bible studies or our counselors can provide the summer Bible study. This week includes chapel, great devotions, a horseback ride, quiet time, swimming, campfires, great games and great opportunities as a group to grow together in their living relationship with Jesus.

Senior High Camp is an amazing experience with everything Riverside has to offer: Authentic worship, God's Word, great counselors, a dynamic speaker, and so much more. This is a unique opportunity to encounter Jesus in a truely incredible way. Register early, this week fills quickly!
Our special guest speaker for Senior High is Dani Tietjen
Dani uses her everyday life experiences, Biblical truth, and International awareness to try to motivate and encourage others in their understanding of faith, God, and service. Dani has one goal in mind when speaking, to bring truth in a way that youth will understand and be able to connect to. Dani has a heart for encouraging, for need awareness, and action in faith. She believes in service on a family, local, national and global scale. She has experienced how God brings heaven here to earth in every act of love that we participate in. Dani spoke at Riverside in 2010 and we are excited to have her back!
