Riverside Property
The property of Riverside consists of 123 acres of trails, buildings, recreation spaces, and much more. Here is a detailed map of our whole camp for you to check out and print out if you'd like!
Retreats and Gatherings
The Riverside Chapel is a large heated and air conditioned building offering many worship and festival opportunities nine months out of the year. It has been used for church services, quilt auctions, and transformed into an elegant wedding venue. Amenities found in the Chapel include seating for around 300, projector, computer, wifi, and a state of the art sound system. Click the image to the left to view more photos.
The Dining Hall is a large space that can be arranged to accommodate your vision. It has been used for large meetings, conferences, and receptions. The seating capacity is around 300 at either 6ft round tables or 8ft rectangle tables. The Dining Hall comes equipped with a full commercial grade kitchen and many other amenities including wifi, computer, projector, and some sound capabilities. Mortvedt Hall is a large meeting space that includes a full kitchen. It has been used for countless meetings, birthday parties, coffee house style musical performances, and small receptions. This space can be set up in multiple different ways to fit your needs with seating for around 100 people (just chairs) 65 (tables and chairs) inside and room for guests to mingle on the deck out front. Housing Options
Shepherd Cabin
Shepherd cabin was newly built in 2020 and is a great space for an individual or family getaway any time of year. This cabin includes:
-Queen bed, bunk bed, and a sleeping loft that can sleep 2.
-Kitchenette (fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and electric skillet.
-Kitchen table with four chairs
-Couch and chairs to relax
-Bathroom with 2 sink vanity, 2 toilets, and a private oversized shower
-Private bonfire pit outside the cabin.
Almighty Cabin
Shepherd cabin was newly built in 2020 and is a great space for an individual or family getaway any time of year. This cabin includes:
-Queen bed, bunk bed, and a sleeping loft that can sleep 2.
-Kitchenette (fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and electric skillet.
-Kitchen table with four chairs
-Couch and chairs to relax
-Bathroom with 2 sink vanity, 2 toilets, and a private oversized shower
-Private bonfire pit outside the cabin.
Hansen Lodge
Hansen Lodge was renovated in the spring of 2020 and offers a great space for small retreat groups. This building includes:
-a large meeting room with fireplace, multimedia, coffee bar, and a full kitchen
-Men's and women's restroom, complete with a private shower on each side.
-2 private sleeping rooms, each with a queen bed and one bunk bed.
-Large bunk room with 4 bunk beds and one queen bed
-Outdoor gathering area complete with firepit and picnic tables.
-Large fenced in play area right outside the lodge.
The Johnson Retreat Center is a great place to hold over night retreats or a family reunion. There are nine carpeted bedrooms that each accommodate four people between two twin beds and one bunk bed (one room has a bathroom attached). Amenities include a full kitchen, dining/meeting space, couch corner, DVD player, heating and air conditioning, and male and female bathrooms. This building can be used all year long. The Barn is a building that consists of two rooms (cabins) that can accommodate 24 people total. There are 12 bunk beds between the two rooms. Each room is carpeted and has a bathroom attached. Upstairs is an unheated recreation area that has a basketball hoop. Both cabins have heating and air conditioning, permitting it to be open nine months of the year. The North Heights area consists of two duplexes that can accommodate 24 people each with bunk beds. Each building is carpeted with the sleeping areas in the upper (walk-in) level, and the lower level contains bathrooms for each side and a combined meeting space. One of these duplexes also has a kitchenette and TV with a DVD/VCR player. Both units have heating and air conditioning, allowing them to be used all year long. Trinity House has two large rooms (cabins), which is located on the upper level of the house, that each accommodate 14 people with bunk beds. Each room has their own restroom and shower. There is a small meeting room that can also be utilized across the hall from these rooms. Both rooms have a heating and air conditioning unit, which allows them to be used all year long. Hope Village consists of 12 large cabins, each accommodate 12 people with bunk beds. Each cabin has a shower and restroom attached. The bunks are around the perimeter of the cabin, allowing for a small space to hang out in the middle of the bunks. There is air conditioning and heating, which allows them to be open nine months of the year. Click the image to the left to view more photos.
The Tree Houses are four unheated cabins accommodating 12 people each with bunk beds. There is a shower and bath house just outside of the cabins. Each cabin has its own air conditioning unit, permitting them to be available May through September. Click the image to the left to view more photos.
The Platform Tents are two tents that are available for our adventure campers and anyone who may want a place to camp. Each tent can accommodate 12 people, with army style bunk beds. There is a shelter with toilets and sinks within 100 feet of the tents, as well as a campfire pit.
