Summer Staff

Make a Difference!

We are excited about everything God is doing here at Riverside and we are looking for a Christ-centered staff that is committed to the Lord's service for Summer 2020! Check out this video to hear from some past staff about what it's like to work at Riverside.

What makes being a cabin leader so great?

  • There are a lot of opportunities to serve and grow in leadership.

  • We desire to invest in the lives of our staff. We do so through training and intentional discipling.

  • You get to be a part of an amazing Christian community unlike any other.

"The staff is hands down the best part and what makes Riverside such an awesome experience. This camp is a great balance of developing a relationship with Jesus, making friends, learning leadership skills, and having fun!" -Camper Parent

What will it be like?

We offer three different types of programming at Riverside that you as a cabin leader have the chance to be a part of. During the typical camp experience at Riverside, campers stay in air-conditioned cabins with cabin leaders and participate in everything on the main camp site. This means chapel, Bible studies, big group games, quiet time, free time, outdoor and indoor recreational activities, meals together, campfire, and a lot more!

Our ranch program combines the traditional camp experience with a high quality program centered around learning to ride horses. We also offer an adventure camp where campers spend a portion of every day canoeing, creek stomping, or adventuring around camp or at a near by location. These campers stay in our platform tents and have a more traditional "camping" experience.

What now?

You can start by heading over to our applications page, by clicking the button at the top or bottom of this page. There is one for cabin leaders, junior cabin leaders, and returners. Cabin leader and junior cabin leader applications need to be postmarked, submitted online, or emailed to us by February 1, and we are asking returners who would like to be on support staff to have their applications in by January 4. We typically begin hiring our leadership staff starting in the fall, so the earlier you get in an application, the better. However, we will continue to accept applications after the deadline, as long as we still have positions available. You may also fill out an application online, by heading over to our applications page. We are now accepting applications. Look over our website more to learn about Riverside, our programs, our beliefs, and our mission. Then, head over to our Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and/or Twitter pages (RiversideLBC) where you can keep up to date on everything Riverside. Lastly, please keep in mind that we are not able to hire all applicants, so please be in prayer with us about where God will lead you this summer. We will be trusting in His guidance as well.
