Financial Support

 

Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp is blessed with countless donors with joyful, caring and generous hearts. Riverside’s funding comes from individuals and congregations that partner with us in providing Christ-centered camp experiences year around. How might God be calling you to partner with the life-changing ministry of Riverside through the gifts that He's given you?  A few ways you can consider giving financially to the ministry:​

 

1. Give financially by cash, check, or online giving.  Your giving goes directly towards the ministry of Riverside that includes providing camperships for campers who cannot afford to come to camp, stewarding our grounds and facilities well for God's purposes, helping raise up leaders for the local church, and all other operations that help us carry out our mission.

 

2. Become a Riverside 12:1 Partner by giving a recurring, monthly gift. 

Hebrews 12:1-2 says, "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us

also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race

set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that

was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."  Your monthly giving helps us continue to provide experiences for thousands of people to 'fix their eyes on Jesus' for this year and years to come.  Click here to set this up online, or if you would like our office to help, contact us at 515-733-5271.

Thrivent Choice

​

Thrivent Choice is providing an excellent opportunity that lets you choose where your share of Thrivent Financial's charitable outreach funds go by directing Choice Dollars. You may have received a letter with your eligibility and Thrivent Choice designation explained. You can elect where Choice Dollars go. Members are designated Choice Dollars based on their: Insurance premiums, Contract values, and Thrivent Financial volunteer leadership.

How Do I Direct My Designated Choice Dollars?

  1. Search for your preferred organization(s).

  2. Direct Choice Dollars online now or call 800-THRIVENT (800-847-4836) and state "Thrivent Choice."

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is a very supportive partner of Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp. Thrivent funds contribute several thousand dollars to Riverside’s annual budget. Please prayerfully consider designating Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp to receive your Thrivent Choice dollars.

  • DI box (in good condition)

  • Copy paper

  • Hay (or ability to transport hay), hay trailer

  • Grass/alfalfa, large/small, round or square bales (without foxtail)

  • New/used western saddles (adult and youth-sized)

  • Horses to borrow for the summer

  • Canoe rack trailer (with good hitch and lights)

  • Polyurethane or lightweight aluminum canoes

  • New tubes of triple antibiotic cream and/or anti-itch cream

  • New bottles of acetaminophen, ibuprofen, TUMS/antacid, and/or cough drops

  • Vinyl medical gloves (not latex)

  • Band-aids

  • Dishcloths

  • 1/2 or 3/4 ton Pick-Up

  • Mini Van

  • Car

  • Gas golf cart

  • All-terrain vehicle (ex. Gator)

  • Large Zero-Turn Riding Lawnmower

  • Stump grinder
