Fall Recharges

What's a Recharge?

recharge - (n): The process of reloading or refueling a power source with it's proper fuel; ie: your fuel tank, your batteries, your mind, your heart.

 

A Recharge is for youth - a super fun short stay at Riverside in the fall where we try to pack in as much summer camp programming as possible in just a short time! You’ll have a ton of fun! There will be worship, wonderful friends, great food, games, activities, free time, small groups, carpetball, awesome cabin leaders, fabulous skits, and a “no homework guarantee”!! Check-in will be on Friday evening and pick up for juniors and junior high campers is Saturday evening. High school camper pick up is on Sunday at noon. See all of the details below! It's going to be a ton of fun!

Additional Information

Fee: $95 for Juniors and Junior High, $120 for High School (A $50 deposit is required to secure a spot. The balance may be paid on any date prior to the start of the Recharge. In case of cancelation, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, but any additional money paid can be refunded or transferred to a voucher for future use. 

  • Arrival will be on Friday evening beginning at 7:00pm. We will email you with more detailed instructions for arrival the week before your camper is scheduled to be at Riverside.

  • The recharge concludes on Saturday evening at 8:00pm for junior and junior high campers, and on Sunday at noon for high school campers. If you are traveling from farther away and would be interested in housing on camp for your family, please contact Emily@RiversideLBC.org.

  • You may want to bring some extra money, or add money to their camp store account online, as the camp store will be open selling candy, soda, t-shirts, and other great camp gear. Any extra balance on their online account at the end of the recharge on Sunday will be donated to Riverside. We will accept cash throughout the weekend at the camp store.

  • Please bring your Bible, pen or pencil, paper or notebook, sleeping bag or bedding and pillow, toiletries, a couple of masks, and warm clothes for lots of outdoor activities.

  • Please DO NOT bring cell phones, gaming devices, any type of electronics, expensive jewelry, or food. 

Dates for Fall of 2024

  • October 18-19 Juniors (Grades 3-6) **NOTE - this is only one overnight.

  • November 8-9 Junior High (Grades 6-9) **NOTE - this is only one overnight.

  • November 22-24 High School (Grades 9-12)
